Today, LightGuide Systems and Lichtwerk announced the signing of a channel partner agreement, in which the parties will collaborate in commercializing and implementing LightGuide Systems hardware and software products and services for end-user customers throughout Europe. This partnership will be focused on all industries and with special attention toward advancing Social Economy companies in the BENELUX region performing amazing work within the Disability Inclusion sector.
At the recent World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting, Davos 2020, one of the key themes of the collected business and political leads was Disability Inclusion. A total of 1.3 billion people – 17% of the global population – live with some form of disability, representing the largest minority group worldwide.
LightGuide Systems is proud to be partnered with Lichtwerk and its sister company Mariasteen, who work in the Social Economy field towards the goals of Disability Inclusion. Mariasteen is a social enterprise focused on assembly work; employing 860 people, the vast majority of which have some form of occupational disability. LightGuide Systems has been deployed within Mariasteen to enable their workforce to be even more successful with Augmented Reality assistive technology helping them in their daily work.
